Release of European Poultry Science in 4 issues in future
Preparing manuscripts for submission
The Journal European Poultry Science is going to change its way of release due to organizational needs. Starting with volume 73 (2009) 4 instead of 6 issues will be released annually. The total number of printed pages within the volume will not be changed. The number of pages within the issue will be increased to 74, resulting in a total number of 296 printed pages per volume (instead of 288 pages up to volume 72). Issues will be released at the end of January, April, July and October, respectively. By these changes Editors will achieve a more flexible arrangement of issues and an optimization of the editorial work.
The Editors of the Journal European Poultry Science are pleased about a high submission rate of manuscripts. Due to the enhanced work load the Editors have to demand a strict consideration of the guidelines for the Journal by authors. Authors are requested to read the guidelines thoroughly and to consider the regulations fully. Authors submitting papers in a foreign language must ask a skilled person or an English native speaker for assistance. It is neither the task of Editors nor of Reviewers to undertake extended language revision. Furthermore, it cannot be expected of Reviewers to review manuscripts which are prepared inappropriately. The Editors will not accept submission of any manuscripts in future which are not prepared according to the above mentioned prerequisites.
