We are delighted to invite you to attend the Euro Trials from 11 to 13 June 2008. During this period, the Kaldenhof, our plant breeding and information center in Münster, will open its doors. We offer you the opportunity to inform yourself already in June about the new products for the 2009 bedding and balcony season and the existing assortment. The second event to remember is the traditional Kiepenkerl Week from 3 to 8 August 2008. In addition to the variety show presenting bedding and balcony plants, perennials and vegetables you will be able to learn more about the new products from garden retailing, gardening and landscaping and direct marketing. Highlights:

Argyranthemum „ Percussion “
“Percussion;“ is the name of Kiepenkerl’s new Argyranthemum series. These varieties bloom early and abundantly. Their well branched spherical growth habit facilitates the cultivation and allows the production of high-quality plants. The large flowers sit well above the foliage. Tests in summer 2007 proved the excellent long-flowering characteristics. The series is well suited both as a solitary plant in receptacles and for mixed plantings in boxes and tubs. |

Lantana „ Luxor ”
The new “Luxor“-series represents the next generation of lantanas. It is characterised by a bushy compact growth. The plants branch well and already come into bloom in early April. These “Luxor“-lantanas do not set seeds and impress by their uninterrupted abundant bloom which lasts the whole summer. |

Kräuter + Balkongemüse
Herbs fascinate. By their spicing, aromatic and healing effects, they inspire the imagination and invite us to taste and enjoy. Adding some healthy balcony vegetables turns a balcony or terrace into a little piece of paradise. You will love the new mini snack cucumber `Ministar´ which produces many small delicious fruits and is also available as “Kiepenkerl Profi-Line“-plant.

Veredeltes Fruchtgemüse:
Fruit vegetables are trendy and enjoy great and growing popularity among consumers. Graftings provide a considerable extra yield and due to their strong habit and their resistances also a more secure yield. These advan- tages are also appreciated by amateur gardeners. Visit the Kaldenhof in August during the Kiepenkerl Week and test the excellent taste of the new tomato `Flavance´ which is characterised by its appetizingly dark red inside colour. |
