Plantus English Demo

You can download a 30 day demo of Plantus, the plant database. Choose Plantus (V3) for Northern Europe or Plantus South for Mediterranean plants.

Please note that this download comes in 2 parts: first the "Green Office Runtime" that includes the programs that are common to both Plantus and Plantus South, and then the actual Demo version.

You must install Green Office Runtime if you want to run these demos - but you only need to install it once to view the demos for both applications.

If you already using PPP-Index (V4) Green Office Runtime.  should be already on your system.

Please note also: this demo does NOT include plant photos. The full release of Plantus includes 6,000 photos and Plantus South more than 4,500.

Plantus

Plantus supplies full descriptions on 7,500 outdoor plants which are generally available from commercial sources. The CD lists the key characteristics of each plant and around 6,000 are illustrated with colour photographs. The disc offers comprehensive search facilities and is easy to use. It includes information about the use of plants, their growth and special needs, and suggestions for planting plans. This edition has been greatly expanded with many new photographs and offers even easier-to-use operation.

Plantus South

Around 7,000 subtropical, tropical and Mediterranean plants are described in detail in this database. Most of these plants are well-known in temperate parts of Europe - as container plants placed on balconies and terraces in summer. Each plant is described by its botanical characteristics, location, and use, and the database offers further information about other varieties available on the market. Around 4,000 colour photos are included.
The program's facility for filtering and creating personalised lists is easy-to-use and offers a wide range of possibilities, from compiling collectors' lists to making up orders.
