The origins of PLANTUS go back to 1988 when I began to set up a programme and a basic data collection. As apprenticed gardener I soon used the computer to collect information on plants. Ever since I continued to develop and improve PLANTUS. Often I have been accompanied and inspired by colleagues and friends and I would like to express my thanks for their help.
