The products of the Green Office line can easily be linked to other software using an OLE interface.
Taken together, these programs can be regarded as an OLE Automation Server (Out of Process). The OLE drag-and-drop operation will continue to be supported in future. The event of a plant being dragged with the mouse from a Green Office program into a target application can be received in the target application by means of an OLE DropTarget treatment.
As far as the procedure is concerned, an event-directed, bidirectional interface for the Green Office software can easily be established for the OLE Automation Server on the one hand and OLE drag-and-drop on the other.
For this operation, a number of Help components and project examples in the Delphi programming language are included in the software. Any 32-bit software that supports regular OLE operation can thus access all relevant Green Office elements and integrate them.
No runtime licences are envisaged for the use of the interface function capability. A corresponding original CD is necessary, however.
