The report designer is a modal window that obscures Plantus entirely. This means that you cannot perform any other Plantus functions while you are working on a report.

A report is always displayed as a sheet of paper. It is divided up into various sections in which you can insert the print data:
| Name | Interpretation |
| Page header | Beginning of page. Here you can insert, e.g., headers and page numbers. |
| Title | Range at the beginning of a report. Here, you can create outputs for, e.g., address or project name entries. |
| Detail | Detail range, in which the data of each data entry and plant is outputted. |
| Summary | Range at the end of a report; here, you can specify total prices and final invoices for, e.g., a plant order. |
| Page footer | End of page (for use as needed). |

You can change the height of a print section by using the mouse. The ranges can be activated or deactivated by choosing the commands under [Report].
